The creature’s life completely changes when a new billboard of the Galaxy S22 Ultra goes up on the building outside. The December SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the Galaxy S10 series in the US is currently limited to carrier-locked units. Samsung is seeding the new security patch with firmware version G97*USQS8IVL1, SamMobile reports. The handsets aren’t getting any new features or enhancements but the latest SMR contains plenty of vulnerability fixes. The company mentions as many as 80 patches in its security bulletin updated earlier this month. As usual, this month’s SMR contains some Galaxy-specific patches as well as patches for vulnerabilities that affect the entire Android ecosystem....
