Xiaomi’s 210W fast charging is ready, and may be included in a phone soon
This adapter delivers values 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 11V/6A Max, 17W/10.5A Max 20V/10.5A Max. The last one listed here can reach the aforementioned 210W charging. Considering that this adapter already got certified, it basically means it’s ready to go. Xiaomi is probably planning to utilize it soon, and include it on one of its upcoming devices. It will almost certainly be a phone. So, which device may include such charging? Perhaps the Xiaomi 13 Ultra? Xiaomi is expected to introduce its Xiaomi 13 flagships at the very end of this year, so… it’s possible. We’ll just have to wait and see. For the time being, we can only guess. For those of you out of the loop, Xiaomi demonstrated 200W fast wired charging back in 2021. It used a custom version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro in order to do that. That variant never went on sale, though. The company’s 200W fast charging was able to charge the device in only 8 minutes, from 0 to 100%. Just to be clear, that device was equipped with a 4,000mAh battery. Once this 210W charger makes it to the company’s device, it’s possible Xiaomi will market that charging as 200W charging. It remains to be seen. We’re not excluding the possibility it will be presented as 210W charging, though, of course.
The iQOO 10 Pro is already available with 200W charging
Xiaomi has some heavy competition in the charging department. The iQOO 10 Pro was released last month with 200W fast charging. It can charge up fully in under 10 minutes. OPPO also demonstrated 240W charging, which is still in development.
