The Xiaomi Pad 6 series expected to launch in Q2 2023
In addition to the launch timeframe, he also added that Redmi is working on a tablet as well. He did not release any additional information about that, however. We’ll talk more about the Pad 6 series in a second, let’s first talk about the timeline for the series, shall we? The Xiaomi Pad 5 series arrived back in August 2021. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, on the other hand, was launched in June 2018. So, it seems like Xiaomi doesn’t really have a specific timeline for releasing these tablets. It took the company over three years to deliver the Xiaomi Pad 5 following the Mi Pad 4, and now the Pad 6 will launch approximately a year and a half after the Pad 5. Having said that, let’s see what you can expect.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro are expected
Based on the leaked info, the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro are coming. Those two tablets are codenames Pipa and Liuqin. The former will allegedly include the Snapdragon 870, while the latter will come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is said that both tablets will include displays sized somewhere between 11 to 12 inches, and that they will have narrow bezels. We can expect two cameras on the back of both tablets. Previous leaks claimed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will feature an AMOLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1880 pixels. That display will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. Quad speakers are also expected, and the same goes for an official magnetic keyboard case, and stylus support as well. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is expected to remain exclusive to China, but the Pad 6 will launch globally, allegedly. The Xiaomi Pad 5 did arrive to a ton of markets outside Xiaomi’s homeland, by the way.
