According to the company, subscribers will not require to do anything. Beginning May 3, the added perks will be available to all AT&T Unlimited Elite customers. Subject to availability, customers will be able to enjoy unlimited high-speed 5G data and make calls from the above-listed 19 countries without paying any roaming charges. They will be able to continue using their phone as they do at home. The benefits are available to Business Unlimited Elite customers as well. The AT&T Unlimited Elite plan starts at $85 a month for one line and drops to $45 a month per line if you get five lines. It includes unlimited talk, text, and high-speed 5G data, an HBO Max subscription, 40GB of hotspot data per line per month, 4K UHD streaming, and six months of Stadia Pro. Coinciding with the latest Unlimited Elite plan revision, AT&T is also launching an enhanced security app that consolidates the existing AT&T Mobile Security and AT&T Call Protect apps. The new app — AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security — will be available to all AT&T wireless customers for free on May 3. It offers spam control, fraud call blocking, and more. Some premium features of the app are exclusive Unlimited plans though. These include identity monitoring, VPN security, safe browsing, and caller ID.
AT&T offers more benefits to its Unlimited Elite customers
AT&T last month rolled out 5G roaming to more than 35 international destinations with International Day Pass. It also offers unlimited high-speed data, talk, and text in over 210 countries for $10/day for up to ten days. After that, the roaming for that line is free until the end of the current monthly billing cycle. So for every billing cycle, the maximum amount of roaming charges is $100. But AT&T Unlimited Elite customers will now get completely-free roaming in 19 Latin American countries. Thankfully, the carrier also lets customers with multiple lines mix and match the unlimited plans. So if a family member of yours is planning to visit any of these countries but doesn’t have the Unlimited Elite plan, you can upgrade just that line to avoid roaming charges.
