The Galaxy A53, which will be the more powerful of the two, will bear the model numbers SM-A536B, SM-A536E, etc. depending on the region. Likewise, the Galaxy A33 will be identified by model numbers SM-A336B, SM-A336M, SM-A336E, etc. That’s pretty much all we can take away from these listings on the Bluetooth SIG’s website. However, we know a lot more about the two upcoming Samsung mid-rangers thanks to prior leaks. The Korean brand is coming down hard on these leaks but to no avail, it seems. Both Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 recently appeared in an HTML5 benchmark test. They ran Samsung Internet version 16 and scored equal points (474). We also saw the two phones in a leak earlier this week. According to that report, the former will be available in a single 6GB RAM variant but Samsung could offer two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. It will come in blue, black, white, and orange colors. The Galaxy A33 is also said to come in the same four color options. However, its memory configurations are not known yet. You can expect to hear more about the two Samsung mid-rangers in the coming weeks.
Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 could launch in March
Reports suggest Samsung is planning a March launch for both Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33. That seems quite probable considering that the company has kind of reserved February for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab S8. It will unveil its new flagships on February 9. And by the time the devices go on sale globally, we would have probably entered March. Of course, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything as yet. However, considering how often we have seen the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 together, be it in leaks, benchmark listings, or official certifications, we expect them to break cover at the same time in the next few months. Samsung also has a bunch of other mid-range smartphones in the pipeline. It is said to follow the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A33 with the Galaxy A23 in April and Galaxy A73 in May. Some of these phones may also get Galaxy M series counterparts. We will keep you posted.
