The Galaxy S21 FE launch date has seemingly been revealed
The tipster says this information comes from a rather reliable source. Its source acquired the information from a Samsung representative, allegedly. He did note he’s not the first to share that date, but he can back that information up now, as his source is rather reliable. Samsung was planning to announce this smartphone during its recent Unpacked event. It was supposed to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 series, and Buds 2. That didn’t happen due to a chip shortage, allegedly. One of the rumors hinted that the Galaxy S21 FE may arrive in October instead. Well, based on this information, it will launch sooner than that. We already have quite a bit of information regarding the device.
The device will offer familiar design
The Galaxy S21 FE will look like a blend between the Galaxy S20 FE and S21. It may, once again, feature a plastic backplate, while it will include a flat display. A display camera hole will be included, and centered. Three cameras will be placed on the phone’s back, while an in-display fingerprint scanner will also be included. That will likely be an optical fingerprint scanner, not an ultrasonic one, which is a good thing, for the most part. The Galaxy S21 FE will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, while it may ship with 8GB of RAM. The device will feature a fullHD+ display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will support fast charging, both wired and wireless, though it won’t be as fast as the competition. A charger likely won’t be included in the box, but we’ll have to wait and see.
