The Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Z Flip 4 launch date, and more info revealed
He went to Twitter to reveal that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 pre-orders will start on August 10, while the two phones will go on sale on August 26. This basically confirms that the launch event will take place on August 10, as Samsung usually makes the devices available to pre-order on the same day of the event. This will be the company’s second Unpacked event of the year, of course, following the Galaxy S22 series event. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are expected to launch, along with some wearables. That’s not all, though. Jon Prosser also revealed what colors are coming. He says that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will launch in Phantom Black, Green, and Beige color variants. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, on the other hand, will arrive in Graphite, Bora Purple, Pink Gold, and Blue color options. Needless to say, the availability of these colors will likely be market-dependent.
This date is most likely accurate
This is not exactly a huge surprise. We expected this event to take place in August, as that’s when it usually takes place, every year. We just didn’t know the exact date, well, until now, presuming this info is accurate. Jon Prosser is usually spot on with such information, so we have no reason to doubt him this time around. In regards to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, a ton of information surfaced already. Both devices are expected to offer a less visible display crease, and new hinges. The Galaxy Z Fold 4’s hinge will be considerably thinner, while both phones will have a more boxy look, due to flatter sides. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is expected to fuel both smartphones.
