The Vivomove Sport (via Wareable) comes with many health-related features, including dedicated trackers for respiratory and heart rate. Garmin’s Body Battery is also onboard that detects the user’s energy levels based on various metrics. Moreover, it can also track blood oxygen saturation and the usual fitness data such as steps, sleep, activity, etc. The Vivomove Sport comes in new colors, with Garmin also offering a customization tool to pick colors for the strap and dial. Similar to its siblings in the lineup, the hybrid Vivomove Sport offers an analog display. The manufacturer claims it can run for up to six days if you use it only for checking the time. Accessing notifications on the wearable brings down the battery life to five days. This rehashed version of the Vivomove Sport will set you back by $179.
Garmin’s Venu 2 Plus offers a remarkable 9-day battery life
The Venu 2 Plus is a high-end offering and an upgraded version of the Venu 2. Although there are no major additions here, the Venu 2 Plus allows users to make or receive phone calls without reaching for the phone. This is thanks to the built-in microphone and speakers. Customers can also respond to texts via the wearable. Garmin’s new wearable retains the gorgeous AMOLED screen while supporting voice assistants such as Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby, or Apple’s Siri. The smartwatch also includes a heart-rate monitor with a SpO2 sensor, GPS, and support for 25 types of sport modes. Spotify customers can save their entire playlists on the watch thanks to built-in storage. There’s also support for Garmin Pay, the company’s contactless payments service. Perhaps the best part about the Venu 2 Plus is its 9-day battery life. Meanwhile, the smartwatch is now available in a 43mm case, replacing the original Venu 2’s 45mm case. The Venu 2 Plus costs $499, which coincides with the standard Venu 2 going down to $399. It’s worth pointing out that the Garmin Venu 2 Plus has made it to several leaks over the last few months. The company is expected to release the Fenix 7, Fenix 7S, and the Fenix 7X over the next few days at CES.
