Classic Power Menu is the app for you if you have Android 12 power menu
If you’re not rooted, you won’t be able to use this app as intended (though it may work, with delays). If you are, or if you’re willing to root to change the power menu, read on. This app is also not available in the Play Store, of course, you’ll need to sideload it. It is a verified app, though. This application comes from Kieron Quinn, which is a recognized XDA developer known as Quinny899. This app is essentially a power menu replacement for devices running Android 11 and up. What does it do? Well, it essentially allows you to customize the stock power menu in a number of ways. You can, for example, add buttons for taking a screenshot, rebooting to the bootloader, and much more. You can even theme this app’s power menu by using Material You’s wallpaper-based theming system. That’s a great addition, and does give you a lot of options. So, this app is basically ideal for those of you who loved Android 11’s power menu. In Android 11, Google added smart home automation shortcuts to the power menu. It basically made a smart home hub there.
With Android 12, Google reverted the change it made with Android 11
In Android 12, that smart home hub is no longer available. Google reverted to what it was before. The vast majority of people will probably prefer that, but those of you who enjoyed the smart home hub option, well, you can get it back thanks to this app. This app allows you to fine-tune everything to your liking. In order to take full advantage of what it has to offer, and for it to work properly, you’ll need root, and an optional Xposed module. If you don’t feel confident enough to root your phone, though, you may want to avoid the app. It is completely understandable if you don’t want to do that. Download Classic Power Menu (Github)
