This roadmap for 2022 Samsung tablets, TWS earbuds, and other devices comes from The Elec. It was first reported by @FrontTron on Twitter. This chart/list appears to be the company’s business plan for 2022. Moreover, Samsung has seemingly shared this information with around 30 major partners. It reveals tablets like the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Lite, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The three high-end Galaxy Tab S8 variants will seemingly go into production between the first and second quarters of 2022. Meanwhile, the ‘Lite’ variant of the Galaxy Tab S8 will only go into production between Q3 and Q4 next year.
This leak also confirms the arrival of the Galaxy Watch 5
Interestingly, the company could produce up to 1.6 million units of the Galaxy Tab S8 Lite while only producing 400,000 units of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. We further learn about the company’s plans to refresh its budget tablet lineup with the Galaxy Tab A8 and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in 2022. The chart also mentions the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and the Galaxy Buds Live 2. These TWS earbuds could launch after the first half of 2022. Samsung is betting big with these products as it intends to produce over 3 million units each of the Buds Pro 2 and Live 2. The Galaxy Watch 3 gets a mention on this list as well, though it will only arrive between the third and fourth quarters of 2022. Other devices coming next year include the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 5G, and the Galaxy Chromebook Go. That’s a whole bunch of devices coming from the Korean manufacturer next year. Notably, the list doesn’t include smartphones, though we have a decent idea of what’s coming up. Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy S21 FE in January. The company will then debut the Galaxy S22 series in early February, as per initial reports.
