The OnePlus 10 Ultra has entered the testing phase
The OnePlus 10 Ultra is tipped to launch in H2 this year, but we’re still not sure when. It will bring the aforementioned SoC to the table, which should offer better thermals than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This chip will be manufactured by TSMC. On top of that, an improved camera experience is expected, with a different hardware setup. The tipster also mentioned some other OnePlus devices in his tweet. He said that the OnePlus 10 will arrive in two SoC variants. One model will ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the other with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. More OnePlus Nord smartphones are also coming, and OnePlus is planning to utilize the Snapdragon 888 and MediaTek Dimensity 8000 in some of them. So those will be quite powerful mid-rangers.
OnePlus is also planning to use the yet-unreleased Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 down the road
OnePlus is also planning to utilize the yet-unreleased Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor in one of its upcoming smartphones. The tipster did not share exact timelines for any of these devices, though. The OnePlus 10 Pro arrived to global markets not long ago, after launching in China back in January. That device is quite powerful, and it is the company’s flagship. The ‘Ultra’ model is tipped to trump the ‘Pro’ variant, though. The difference likely won’t be colossal, but the ‘Ultra’ model is expected to offer better performance and camera experience. It’s also expected to cost more, of course. We still don’t know what it will look like, but chances are that OnePlus won’t stray too far away from the OnePlus 10 Pro design language.
