The OnePlus 10R is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Ace
The OnePlus 10R actually looks really nice, and its specs also look quite nice on paper. The phone is made out of metal and glass, and it utilizes a boxy design with curved corners. The phone has an interesting cooling system with a total heat dissipation area of 35198.2mm². Its VC liquid cooling system covers an area of up to 4129.8mm². OnePlus included graphite cooling with better cooling effects materials here. On top of that, there are 9 antennas included in the device. The phone includes thin bezels, and a flat display. A centered display camera hole is also included here, while the phone’s backplate does have an interesting design. That will differ from one color to the next, and it’s still glass on the back, by the way. Its rear camera island also looks quite interesting. There are three sensors in there, and the main one is considerably larger than the rest. The power / lock button sits on the right, while the volume up and down buttons are placed on the left side. There is no alert slider here.
A large AMOLED display is included, and it supports a 120Hz refresh rate
The OnePlus 10R features a 6.7-inch fullHD+ (2412 x 1080) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC. The company is offering two different models in India. The one with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage is more affordable. The more expensive model includes 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. Android 12 comes pre-installed on the device, along with OxygenOS 12. There are two nano SIM card slots included here, while an in-display fingerprint scanner is also a part of the package. The same goes for stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX766 sensor, f/1.88 aperture) is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (119-degree FoV, Sony’s IMX355 sensor, f/2.2 aperture), and a 2-megapixel macro camera (GC02M1 sensor, f/2.4 aperture). A single 16-megapixel camera (Samsung’s S5K3P9SP sensor, f/2.4 aperture) sits on the front side of the phone.
Both 80W and 150W charging models are on offer
The device measures 163.3 x 75.5 x 8.2mm, while it weighs 186 grams. Two different battery variants of the phone are on offer. The one with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W SuperVOOC fast wired charging is the standard one. The one with a 4,500mAh battery includes brand new 150W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. The pricing for the OnePlus 10R in India starts at INR38,999 ($510). It’s possible the OnePlus 10R will arrive to more regions.
