The new report doesn’t specify if all Galaxy S22 models will be available in a Bespoke edition. While that seems logical, we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung decides to give this special treatment only to one of its upcoming flagships. We are expecting three new flagship smartphones from the company next month: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Galaxy S22 series could get Bespoke treatment from Samsung
Samsung has been launching Bespoke edition refrigerators for some time now. The company allows buyers to choose the color and finish for the product that matches the interior of their houses. Last October, the Korean firm added the Galaxy Z Flip 3 to this fold. The latest clamshell folding phone is available in a whopping 49 different color combinations. This includes two colors for the frame — silver and black — and five for the back panels — blue, yellow, pink, white, and black. Samsung is now mulling the same color options for the Galaxy S22 as well. Of course, we will have much lesser color combination options for the upcoming flagship since it has a single rear panel. But there will still be at least ten options to choose from. Or maybe the company will add more colors if it goes ahead with the plans of releasing a Bespoke Edition Galaxy S22. The Korean firm recently revealed that blue and yellow back panels with a silver frame are the most popular color combination for the Bespoke Edition Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US. In global markets, white back panels on a silver frame and pink back panels on a black frame are getting the most orders. So it might now have a fair idea of how to go about the plans. This should help in cost management since Bespoke Editions are costlier to manufacture. Nonetheless, if a Bespoke Edition Galaxy S22 is coming, we should hear more about it in the coming weeks. The availability could be limited to certain markets, but that’s for another story. Samsung reportedly plans to unveil the new flagships on February 9, 2022. So it’s not a very long wait now. Stay tuned.
