Samsung Gaming Hub was officially announced earlier this year with a launch coming later. That day is now here, and if you have a compatible TV you should see the new Gaming Hub app available. You will of course need a compatible TV. That will include all Samsung TVs from 2022. That means the Neo QLED 8K TVs and Neo QLED 4K TVs, OLED models, and the Smart Monitor series.
The launch of Samsung Gaming Hub brings easy access to all your gaming needs
This gives players a super easy way to play all their cloud games from the couch without any extra equipment other than a controller. You don’t have to plug in a Chromecast or a Fire TV Stick. Gaming Hub also allows access to Utomik, and apps like Twitch, YouTube and Spotify. Because sometimes you may not be looking to play games and would rather watch people stream them instead.
You can also access your PC and console games
The cherry on top of all this is that you can use the Gaming Hub to access your console and PC games too. So it really does end up being a one stop shop for your gaming habits. If you have one of the compatible TVs or monitors, there shouldn’t be a need to update the software or do anything else. The Gaming Hub should just be there and be readily accessible. That being said, if you don’t see it, check your TVs compatibility and see if there’s an available update anyway.
