Who says spiders can’t be cute?
This commercial comes from Samsung Germany’s official YouTube account (via SamMobile), illustrating the life of a spider living inside an enclosure within an apartment. The creature’s life completely changes when a new billboard of the Galaxy S22 Ultra goes up on the building outside. All of this plays out to the tune of “Love Hurts” by legendary Scottish rock band Nazareth. You can check out the commercial in its entirety below. It’s not uncharacteristic of Samsung to use new and innovative ways to market its products. But this one certainly rates among the best the company has produced in a while. The commercial only focuses on the rear camera arrangement of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This may seem like an odd approach, but it works wonders here. Samsung is likely to spend millions of dollars marketing its newly released flagship lineup. The Galaxy S22 Ultra, in particular, is likely to be the main focus for the company over the next few months. While the device doesn’t differ significantly from last year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra, the inclusion of the S Pen stylus is a massive upgrade. Unfortunately, devices like the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy S22+ do not support the S Pen. This seems like a missed opportunity from the Korean manufacturer. Perhaps Samsung will rectify this with the successor in 2023. To refresh your memory, the Galaxy S22 Ultra boasts a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The flagship also features a 40-megapixel front camera with 4K and 8K video recording capabilities at 60fps. All three smartphones in the Galaxy S22 lineup are now up for pre-order. However, it will only start shipping to customers by February 25. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S8 series will also be available on the same day.
