Samsung has shared its Android 12 One UI 4 roadmap for the US
If you take a look at the image provided below, you’ll get to see the company’s plans. The image is not of the best quality, though, so it may not be the easiest to read. You may have to zoom in a bit.
In any case, as you can see, the Galaxy S21 series is listed for November here. Samsung did start rolling out Android 12 with One UI 4 to those three devices already, the other day. It started rolling out the update to unlocked models. Next in line are the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, which are tipped to get the update next month. Quite a few phones are slated to get it in January, including the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Z Flip, Z Flip 5G, the S20 series (excluding the regular S20), the Note 20 series, the Note 10 series, and the original Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy S10 series will get the update in February
The Galaxy S10 series will follow in February, along with the regular Galaxy S20 model, several tablets, and more. The company’s plans have been revealed for the vast majority of next year, up to August, actually. You can see the full details in the provided image and via this link. Samsung managed to surprise quite a few people by releasing a stable Android 12 update for the Galaxy S21 series. This is the earliest Samsung had released a major Android update in… well, probably ever. It was only a month behind Google, basically. Samsung was well-known for being late with Android updates, but the company completely turned things around. Now it’s either first or second to release security updates every month, and it apparently does great with major new iterations of Android as well. Let’s hope Samsung will be able to stick to the roadmap it revealed, as many devices will get the update rather soon.
