Why does it matter how much TCL 30 V 5G costs?
The kicker here, of course, isn’t necessarily that the TCL 30 V 5G phone is just affordable. Instead, it’s the fact that at that price, this phone not only supports Verizon’s ultra-wide 5G bands. But also its more widespread nationwide 5G network and C-Band connectivity. Meaning that it’s one of the few if not only budget handset to effectively support all of the current versions of 5G Verizon offers. That’s as opposed to the more limited nationwide 5G support — which is also much slower — offered by the vast majority of competitors in the price bracket. TCL also didn’t slack off when it comes to any other aspects of this handset to accomplish that. Packed behind the TCL 30 V 5G’s 6.67-inch display panel, the company built this gadget around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. That’s an octa-core arrangement backed by a respectable 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Up to 1TB via microSD card. The display panel itself is an FHD+ resolution at 1080 x 2400 pixels under the Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
When is this TCL going to be available?
Now, while most aspects of this handset were revealed at its announcement, there are still some details that remain a mystery. For instance, it still isn’t clear exactly when this device will become available to pre-order or buy. TCL has, since first launching its self-branded product lines, come out swinging at nearly every mobile event. And it’s consistently taken home awards for any number of its gadgets. So it will undoubtedly be a hot item when it does land. But the company is keeping that under wraps for the time being.
