Pixel Watch colors
Since this is a fancy watch, you can expect some fancy colors. These watch colors don’t share the quaint naming scheme that Google uses for some of its other devices. The colors are Silver, Black, and Warm Gold. As for the first-party watch bands, there are four colors. There’s Charcoal, Obsidian, Chalk, and Hazel.
You’ll be able to mix and match the watches with the bands, but there are some premade combinations to choose from. The Silver will come with either a Charcoal band or a Chalk band. The Black will come with an Obsidian band and the Warm Gold watch will come with a Hazel band. These are some nice colors for the Pixel Watch, and who knows if the company will come out with any more down the road? Also, we can’t rule out third-party companies making watch bands. We will just have to wait.
What about the price?
So, you can see a Pixel Watch on your wrist, but, how much will it cost to make that happen? Well, this watch won’t exactly be a cheap offering. It’s definitely up there with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Watches and Apple Watches. The base Wi-Fi-only model costs $349. That’s pretty pricey for a smartwatch since many others are under $300. However, if you want the model with cell connectivity, you’ll be paying $399. Most people will definitely go for the cheaper model. This watch will have the purest version of WearOS 3 that we’ve seen on a smartwatch. Granted, we haven’t seen that platform on many watches. Also, some of those watches have a heavy Samsung skin on the software. So, when this watch starts making its way to users, we’ll finally see what Google has in store for its wearable operating system. When this phone launches, it won’t be exclusive to Pixel phones.
